Timber Casement Windows

— Classic British Elegance, Built to Last
From country cottages to contemporary self-builds, our made-to-measure casement windows combine clean traditional lines with outstanding thermal performance.
The casement window is the most versatile of British window styles — and one of the most demanding to get right. Ours are manufactured from engineered FSC®-certified timber with slim, precise profiles, factory-applied Remmers finishes and high-performance glazing, in flush or stormproof construction to suit the character of your property.

Flush Casement

The opening sash sits perfectly level within the outer frame, creating the clean, elegant appearance characteristic of traditional British architecture — from Georgian homes to modern extensions.

Stormproof Casement

The sash overlaps the outer frame, providing additional protection against driving rain and wind — a practical choice for exposed locations, with a subtly different shadow line.

Tudor Revival Windows
— Surrey

The primary challenge in this architecturally distinct Arts & Crafts / Tudor Revival residence was replacing the extensive joinery across multi-faceted bay windows without compromising the period aesthetic or suffering from thermal inefficiency. The solution was the comprehensive installation of bespoke, dark-framed timber windows and doors with traditional glazing bars, combining meticulous period craftsmanship with advanced energy-efficient glazing. As a result, the striking deep graphite frames create a refined contrast against the pale render, delivering exceptionally warm and quiet interiors while significantly enhancing the property’s overall market value.

FAQ

Yes. We have been manufacturing for the British market since 2011 and our transports run to the UK every week. Delivery to London and the surrounding areas is included as standard for other regions delivery is quoted individually. Every order is packed to furniture-grade standard before despatch.
All products are made from engineered, multi-layer timber certified FSC® or PEFC, which ensures dimensional stability and resistance to warping. Available species: pine, oak, meranti, sapele, red grandis and Accoya.
We apply Remmers microporous paints and stains in multiple factory-controlled layers. Full RAL and NCS palettes, Farrow & Ball colours and custom shades are available, as well as translucent stains that show the natural grain.

We provide a 5-year guarantee covering the joinery construction, factory-applied coatings, glazing units and hardware (coatings without a UV filter carry a 2-year guarantee). Full guarantee terms are available on request.

In a flush casement the opening sash closes level with the outer frame, giving a flat, refined elevation typical of period properties. In a stormproof casement the sash overlaps the frame, adding an extra barrier against wind-driven rain — often chosen for coastal or exposed sites.
Our casement range achieves a whole-window U-value of around 1.3 W/(m²·K) with double glazing, improving to 1.07 W/(m²·K) with a 34 mm triple-glazed unit — comfortably meeting current Building Regulations.
Absolutely. Slim engineered-timber profiles, large glazed areas and contemporary colours make casement windows equally at home in modern architecture — with the warmth and sustainability that PVC and aluminium can’t match.
Yes. We manufacture multi-light configurations combining fixed panes, side-hung and top-hung openers, with matching sightlines across the whole elevation — including bay window assemblies.
